Romeo and Juliet - a question of choice
The company are delighted that their patron, Manchester's highly acclaimed actor, Christopher Eccleston will be taking a supporting role in this performance. Christopher kindly agreed to become patron in 2002 after working with one of the actors, Dorothy Cockin, in the BBC2 award winning drama production ‘Flesh and Blood.'
Formed in 1997 the Celebrity Pig Theatre Company is a group of actors based in South Manchester. They are currently supported by Manchester MENCAP and hope to gain charitable status within the foreseeable future. Since 1998 the company have been performing to sell-out audiences in mainstream theatres within the North West region. The actors pride themselves in devising their own scripts and producing a high standard of performance. They now return to the stage in their first production at the Lowry Studio
